    Question Suzukis only...

Just curious who has Zuks and what ya got? I'd like to get a few Suzuki runs going this spring on moderate trails.

**I'll delete any wise cracking, brand bashing BS, this thread is for Zuk owners.**

I just managed to get my stable down to 3 Zuks from.....way too many. lol

    '86 1.6L, YJs, 4.62:1 diffs, 6.5:1 t-case, 8000lb winch, 33s, locked front and rear. Daily driver, wheeler.

'?? Forgotten what year it is tin top, 5.13:1 gears, 8,000lb winch, 33s, welded rear. Not sure what to do with it, was thinking of stealing parts off it for the '90, but maybe I should just bush bash the crap out of it or sell it.

'90 stocker, back up daily driver. Soon to get a mild build. Probably just a mild lift, 31s, rear locker, and 6.5:1 t-case.

At what point is it still considered a Suzuki?

85 Suzuki LWB, Toy 22R W56 and t-case, Toy axles 4:56's Detroit rear, welded front, Toy rear springs up front, Chev 63's in the rear. 38" Swampers dual beadlocks, 9500# receiver winch, exo'd, more to come...

I'd even throw the Zuk grille back in for a run.

I like them. With my axle gearing and tire size it is perfect on the street, and plenty low for the trail. They are pretty cheap compared to what low gearing like that cost a few years ago. I am going to get a set for my '90 before I even bother regearing the axles. Great investment!

yeah i thought about rebuilding the tracker motor (needed it badly) im sure you can remember the smoke screen it produced hahaha but then i figured why not do something different. motor runs great, nice and light, zuk goes fast now, limiter comes up really quick too !!

Well, now that I've finally made it out for my first run, I have a much better idea of what both myself and my truck can do. It certainly seems like it can take a good beating and is reliable enough to go for a bit of distance. Time to buy some recovery equipment and I'm good to go almost any weekend. I'm sure my rig will be the weakest of the crew, so keep that in mind if anyone asks me along - might have to pull me thru places ya'll can go. She likes to be smacked around, tho.

Those lifted rigs sure look alot bigger in person. Here's my stocker:
