    TCC cable

    Anyone know what the TCC cable is for?
    hooks to the auto tranny of an S-10...

    belive you mean tv cable( usualy stand for throttle valve cable) , tells the trans how much loud pedle you are giving and adjusts thew shift points and the firmness for you( and what that really mans is it raises the line pressure to the valves, clutch packs, and servoes so the hydralics can do the rest)

    yeah i know that
    there is a "TCC" cable tho
    its a two prong electric line that hooks to the tranny near the pan
    in the book it's called that but doesn't say anything else
    i broke mine but dunno what it's for and don't notice no difference with driving

    torque conveter clutch. Basicly it locks up you torque converter during cruise speeds. No worry if it is not hooked up just a loss of fuel economy.
