    SJ 410 buggy

Ya, Brentlift and I started on the buggy project tonite.

Removed lots of metal, all thats left now is the firewall, windshield, hood, and part of the front floor pan. More to go tomorrow!

Found out that it had NO body mounts left at all.

It's fun to harvest sheet metal with a sawzall and a zip disc.

Most places will put your pics on cd now, all you need is a negative.

Bit of an update,.. cage is pretty much done, cept for a few bits here and there. We almost have the second t-case mounted, it is in place and attached to the zuki t-case.. just need a couple o brackets and it's in there.

Oh ya, it's from a Lada.

We rounded up a couple o axles from an '81 Toyota, and the front is mostly in there, using leafs from the old van leftover pile. 55" long I think.
Rear end is still in the planning process, coils and maybe a wishbone type 3 link with radius arm bushings... but we shall see. Fun so far!

lol, that sounds very similar to what i made my links out of. other than i went with sked 80.(and one size bigger)
why did you decide to go that small?
are you not afraid of totally messing them up on a rock?
