Well, I can tell you, you cant just drive there. There is walking to do, and when you get there, it's still hard to find.

Look on the energy mines and resources website, in the map section. It should be in there. There's tons of mines around.

Sorry to flog the horse but that site is cool but I cant find what Iam looking for (map of) I have googled the snot out of it too but?????? How about that gps info please

if your really looking for gps info why not look on some geocaching websites? I know for a fact that there are some caches up in that area. I know where there are some old mines in JR but I found them by exploring around, only thing is I didnt have a gps back then to record the track.

I'd be willing to bet that even if you did find the area, you still wouldn't find the entrance to the mines.

maybe this will help, actually, guarentee this will help.

First go to this link and download the Mapguide Veiwer. I would recommend downloading the Active-X control but do as u wish.

after ur done with that and its installed, click this link

Now just zoom into wherever your looking for and you can change the layers too. This program is wicked for finding mines. The mines layer should alredy be selected. Select the roads Layer too and look for the lil pink Mine symbol next to the jordan river, then print the page and use ur new map to find it. how cool is this eh

OH WOW, one more thing, and this will 100% get you there. Double click on the mine symbol and it will come up with a page with a full display of info about it. Even longitude and Latitude of it!!!!!

I have been into this mine many of times.. But that was years ago when it was not blocked off.. I would love to back there and explore some more..

you can 4x4 pritty far down accually, to atleast the last switch back, we tryed to make it furture but that dident go to well lol, lots of creative winching to turn turned arround, theres only 1 entrence, dont go when its rainng because gettin to it sucks!, dont go alone or with people who dont kno there way arround you can get killed verrrrrrry easy if you dont watch ur step
